I am extremely picky about how my horses are cared for, and I can honestly say that Rolling Thunder tops even my standards.  They have continued to exceed my expectations over the last six years.  My older horse had a breathing problem and for years he required a very specific dose of medicine twice daily.  Rolling Thunder kept a chart for him and gave him his medicine on time every single day.  He remains healthy and cough free to this day!  My younger horse has leg and hoof issues that require wrapping and monitoring.  The staff at Rolling Thunder has always kept a close eye on him and kept him safe.  He is perfectly wrapped and turned out every day.  I don't have to worry about things like blanket changes, clean water buckets, enough shavings, etc.  Rolling Thunder is always a step ahead with care and safety.  I would highly recommend this facility to anyone wanting this degree of care. - Dawn R.   

Having such a large indoor arena to ride in has helped my mare and I make real progress in our dressage training....  My mare has Cushings and requires daily meds.  She has chronic scratches due to her compromised immune system.   Patrisha put a calendar chart on the stall door for the staff to check off after each treatment so there are no questions as to when it was done.  Her scratches barely exist anymore.  I feel comfortable if I don't come to the barn for a few days that my mare is being well taken care of.  The staff works hard to insure the individual needs of the boarders are met.... Well organized routine and attention to detail with good communication to boarders ahead of time if there are any changes.     

I love that the National Weather Forecast is printed out daily and posted on the message board.  The staff listens to the weather radio each day before making decisions about blanketing, turn out, etc.     - Nancy T.

At Rolling Thunder, my horse, Tara lives the good life.  She has a large stall with two windows, a nice turnout paddock with a friend, a fan in the summer, and the right blanket on when it's cold or wet.  The staff is meticulous in giving medication--I never have had to worry.  It truly is like a horse resort.   Aside from the care, there has never been a problem with bringing in my own trainer to work with me in the spacious indoor or in the jump field, neither of which has ever been crowded with other riders.  I have boarded at several barns, but now after six years at Rolling Thunder, I couldn't be happier, and I think that Tara is too.   - Laura I.
